Who Are We?

We are “Gulf Coast Wings”, Chapter FL2-F, the Punta Gorda Chapter of Eagle Wings Motorcycle Association (EWMA) and are part of EWMA’s ’s Florida District. Florida is its own district with 30 Chapters, some Chapters are big and some are small.

We are a not-for-profit -501© 4 organization.  We are a non-religious and non-political organization. Our goal is to hjave fun and ride safely.

The US is Divided into Districts – mostly along state borders, except for the smaller states that are close together.

There is a yearly membership fee you pay to home office of $25 per year single or  $30 year Family Membership. Other membership levels are also available.  There are no monthly dues for the Chapter, and we receive no funds from the National Office.  Chapters are self supporting.

We are not a fraternal organization like Elks, Moose or Eagles.  We are not a civic or commercial organization Like Rotary, Kiwanis, or Lions.  We are simply an association of motor cycle riders who support safe, fun motorcycling any way we can.

More importantly, we are members of our local communities- most of our members are year-round residents, but we also have many snow birds that join us and are very active as well.

We welcome all walks of life and ALL BRANDS OF MOTORCYCLES.

We have several “brunch” rides every month (usually 2 per week), occasionally we will have extended rides to such destinations as  the Kennedy Space Center, St. Augustine or Key West.  We have also have social events such as BBQ’s, Bowling, Pizza Nights or Ice Cream Runs.  We do longer touring rides to such places as Colorado, Texas, Michigan or elsewhere. Our Florida District also hosts a yearly rally.

We support charities and charity rides, according to size of each chapter.

We support all this thru sponsorship, 50/50 at meetings and selling raffle tickets to give away a $10,000 each year.

If you are looking for a great bunch of people to ride with and have fun with, please come and join us. We will have a lot of fun and learn a lot about motorcycling.
